BASE RATES
$199 / 60 minute initial visit for new patients
$99 / 20 minute follow up visit for returning patients
$75 / 15 minute patient refill only
$25 / per medical record request
$300 / hr (prorated per 15 minute increments @ $75) phone consultations outside of initial or follow up visits
FEES
$100 / per general form FAMh needs to fill out such as: documentation of treatment, animal support, employer treatment, and general treatment letters
$150 / Emotional Support Animal certification
$150 / Initial visit no show fee
$75 / Follow up visit no show fee
$25 / Month will accrue on any past due balances

Dr. Delia Nieves
Psychiatrist
Dr. Delia E Nieves-Arvelo is a bilingual (Spanish) Board certified Adult Psychiatrist. Dr. Nieves-Arvelo's level of expertise is in medication management. Depending on each individual case, she could consider that in addition to medications, the patient may obtain counseling by a certified mental health therapist.
Dr. Nieves-Arvelo received her medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra, before moving to New York to complete her residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in affiliation with Weill Medical College and Cornell University. After completing her residency, Dr. Nieves-Arvelo moved to San Diego to work for Kaiser-Permanente in various settings such as outpatient, inpatient, consultation-liaison, and chemical dependence/dual diagnosis programs.
She has vast experience providing psychiatric care to patients from Hispanic backgrounds whose preferred language is Spanish. Dr. Nieves-Arvelo is a compassionate and patient-driven psychiatrist who takes the time and dedication to the well-being of her patients. In addition to psychopharmacology, she uses motivational interviewing as well as supportive therapy.
