  • Crisis Text Line (741741): Crisis Text Line is a freely available 24/7/365 service that can support you in crisis situations via text messaging. Send a text to “HOME” or 741741 is the number and a trained counselor is actively waiting to provide immediate help, active listening, and referrals to local resources when applicable.

  • National Suicide Prevention Hotline (1-800-273-8255): The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a phone number you can call that offers free and confidential support 24/7/365. Please call 1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255) to speak with a specially trained crisis counselor. They can provide insight, support, guidance, as well as local resources.

  • Local Resources: There often are nearby crisis centers, hotlines, or other state / city / county services that may be available to you.

LGBTQ+ Support

  • TrevorLifeline (1-866-488-7386): Is a 24/7/365 crisis intervention and suicide prevention helpline, specifically to help LGBTQ+ youth. Specialty rained counselors are there to help provide guidance, support, listening / understanding, as well as resources.

Disaster Distress

  • Disaster Distress Helpline (1-800-985-5990 or text "TalkWithUs" to 66746): This service provides crisis counseling and support for individuals who are affected and impacted by human or natural disasters, as well as pandemics. These services are available 24/7/365.

  • SAMHSA Disaster Distress Helpline (24/7) (800) 985-5990: SAMHSA is another crisis counseling center for natural or human made disasters that is freely available.
